UL Academic Centre to host international training school in laser physics from April 11th to 12th, in collaboration with #DOCRiga2019 conference

From 11th to 12th of April, 2019 young scientists from 9 countries will gather at the Academic Centre of the University of Latvia to participate in the international laser physics school Laserlab IV Nordic Training School “Luminescence dynamics: analyzing relaxation processes”. The training school will be headed by researchers from UL Laser Centre, Instutite of Atomic Physics and Spectroscopy, Institute of Solid State Physics. Training school will be held in collaboration with the annual young scientist conference “Developments in Optics and Communications Riga 2019”.

The training school is organised in framework of LASERLAB-Europe, the largest network of laser physics research institutions in Europe, aiming to increase the European basis of human resources in the field of lasers by training new laser users.

LU Akadēmiskajā centrā no 11. līdz 12. aprīlim sadarbībā ar #DOCRiga2019 konferenci norisināsies Starptautiskā lāzerfizikas skola

No 11. līdz 12. aprīlim LU Akadēmiskajā centrā pulcēsies 9 valstu jaunie zinātnieki, lai LU Lāzercentra, Atomfizikas un spektroskopijas institūta un Cietvielu fizikas institūta pētnieku vadībā piedalītos starptautiskajā lāzerfizikas skolā Laserlab IV Nordic Training School “Luminescence dynamics: analyzing relaxation processes”. Lāzerfizikas skola tiek organizēta sadarbībā ar ikgadējo jauno
zinātnieku konferenci “Developments in Optics and Communications Riga 2019”.
Lāzerfizikas skolas norisi atbalsta Eiropā plašākais lāzerfizikas pētniecības institūciju sadarbības tīkls LASERLAB-Europe ar mērķi paplašināt lāzerpētniecības speciālistu loku, apmācot jaunus lāzeriekārtu lietotājus.
